a feline trinity ...                                                             enough

Rev Sean
This is our new kitty named
Baby Girl Nicoal.

Squirt seems OK,and now
so does CoCo ... mostly.
CoCo is now
out and
about ... and
on a diet.
well, we are
trying one
out, and it is
having
marginal
impact
because we
are not good
guardians of
the food
bowl.  as
you can see
the play
thing she is
on has got
serious sag!
new kitties up at mom's
the nephews brought in
from the roadside.  mom
isn't so kicked on the idea
since this makes 7 of them.
this one with the
bad eye (we
washed it and it
is better) has the
look of Siamese
or Burmese
(Himalayan?)
with the points
and blue eyes.

the gray one has
the markings of
a muted calico,
but a long-haired
version.

they are cute but
we are plum full
at our place.

Baby Girl recently had
her front claws
removed and was
spayed.  She took all
the stitches out
herself and is healing
quite nicely.  Now she
can't climb the walls
and destroy the
sheers in the living
room.

Ahhhh ....
BABY GIRL
the always elegant, handsome
and sweet ... Squirt Dude.

What a difference a week and
some food can make.  This is the
same little guy that had the bad
eye.  The color difference is the
use of flash to better "light her
up."

Shanna says they are both girls ...

God has given us cats to test our eyesight.   He
knows that the eyes of certain cats are wells of
blackness:  endless pools that have no light
and  no apparent end.  their dark and serene
restful nature lures us in.  we are uncomfortable,
because we wrestle with the notion that these
creatures looking back from a purely feline
experience are also a strange reflection of our
own unconscious minds.  while we harbor
things that do not please God,  cats do not have
this uniquely human frailty.

God smiles when cats stare at us, for no
apparent reason, and then walk away without so
much as a goodbye.

God has been a cat B4.
some "end-of-year" stuff from 2009
Sasha and her sister (i think)
are growing up and are nice
kitties.  colors of coats and
eyes are becoming better
defined.  more below ...
I could probably do nothing
but shoot pics of my cats
and it would be a lifetime
pursuit.  maybe that's what i
need to do at some point:
focus, I mean really focus!

Squirt alone is so
magnificent that I find his
every move to be poetry in
motion.  biased huh?

here a few more of the new
kitties ...
she is a beauty ... so i did some
eye color enhancement with a
drybrush filter (above)
.
